Spend Sunday, October 20th at Holy Cross Parish's "Trunk or Treat". Join in the spooktacular fun as children trick-or-treat, from trunk to trunk, to get their bags filled with goodies. Trick-or-treaters you do not need to register!
**Please be mindful of your costume choices. We want you to have a good time and respect our Catholic values which include saintly figures of virtue, strength, and grace instead of the secular emphasis on spooks.
New this year, we are collecting bags of candy to help our registered trunks! Last year we had several hundred participants!! If you are willing to donate a bag of candy, please drop it off at the parish office or at any of the barrels located at all church entrences.
Creative costumes and parishioner saints are encouraged to host a "trunk" at this year's event. Arrive donned in costume as you park alongside "Trunk or Treat" street to treat all who dare to take the journey. For all the fun-filled details, fill out the registration and be sure to review the rules of the road.
Rules of the Road:
Car owners must complete the above form to participate. Only those who have properly registered their vehicles will be allowed to participate in the event.
Additional games and activities (e.g., spin wheel) will NOT be permitted at participating trunks in an effort to keep the trunk line moving.
All trunks must be decorated and staffed by 2:45 p.m.
Registered vehicles must stay at the event until the event ends. For safety purposes, vehicles will not be allowed to leave until the event is over.
Trunks are required to supply their own setup/supplies/decorations.
Electricity will not be available for decorating your vehicle.
Trunk hosts are responsible for clean-up at the end of the event by removing all equipment, supplies, and trash, and leaving the space in the same or better condition as initially presented.
