We are contacting you regarding the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion. If you wish for your second grader to receive these sacraments this spring, the formation process begins now. This is an exciting time for your family and, as parents, you are their first and most important teachers and should be actively involved in preparing children for the Sacraments.
At our general sessions, Father Schon will share information that will help you, as parents, prepare your child for these two incredible sacraments. Parent(s) and child should be present at this event. Other children are welcome to attend, but childcare will not be provided.

Please find attached a registration form. It provides us with vitally important information, especially your up-to-date contact information. Fill this out and mail it back to the parish office in the provided envelope or drop it in the offertory basket by Sunday, October 6th. We will send most of the reminders and messages through our e-mail and text system. If your contact information changes, please let us know.
To record the sacramental information in our parish records, please complete the Baptism Form (located at the bottom of the registration form). If your child was baptized at Holy Cross (either at St. Michael or Blessed Sacrament), we have the details of his or her baptism in the official records. If your child was baptized in another parish, please contact that parish and have them forward a copy of the baptismal record to the parish office as soon as possible. E-mail is fine; the mailing address is 3012 Jackson Street, Sioux City, IA 51104.
IMPORTANT: If you are not registered members of Holy Cross Parish, you must obtain permission from your Pastor at your parish to receive the sacrament here.
We look forward to being a part of this exciting time in your child’s life. As always, if you have any questions, please call the Holy Cross Office at 712-277-2949 ext. 100.
God Bless you and your family, Fr. Randy Schon Pastor
